Albert Slosman reveals in minute detail the story of this exemplary implantation, carried out generation after generation, century after century, millennium after millennium. Sixteen years of incessant research, both on the banks of the Nile and in Syria and Israel, have enabled him to retrace all the dramatic and historic events of two peoples who are blood brothers.
The arrival of the first pioneers took place in the only loop that the ‘Great River’ makes along its entire length, located seven hundred kilometres south of Cairo in a site that was called ‘Ta Nout-Râ-Ptah’: ‘Place blessed by God, the Sun and Heaven’, in other words ‘the place in harmony with the whole Universe’. This name became Tentyris in Greek, Dendrah in Arabic and Dendérah in French.
